Job Description

A National Financial Institution based in Birmingham, AL is looking to add an experienced and strategic Risk Management Analyst to their team. The Analyst will have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule - Monday and Tuesday will be in office and Wednesday - Friday can be worked in office or remote.  

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, implement, document and review the Institution's risk-based due diligence
• Develop risk assessments and control enhancements for various activities, processes, products and functions
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for oversight and analysis of vendor management
• Monitor and report risk mitigation plans with the ERM process and risk management processes in individual risk categories
• Evaluate the design and operation of internal controls by testing key controls performed by business units
• Provide reports to the Supervisory Committee regarding audit findings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
• Understanding of risk management functions, including IT and audit, cyber security and compliance
• Experience in identifying and defining risks in a financial institution
• Experience with Archer software is a plus
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality
